Chris,
Greetings!! I heard you on WPR today, talking about your adventures, your friends...and your ring. As I sat in my car at Culvers, with my 13 year old son eating ice cream, I thought about a ring from my grandma, sitting on my desk in a jewelry box full of unused jewelry. I thought about all of my junk stored in our barn "just in case." I was compelled to go straight to your site when I got home...Your pictures are beautiful, and you are an amazing young woman! This piece about your walk with your grandma is so beautifully written...Have you had it published/sent anywhere else? You must get it out there, so I will start by sending info. about your site to everyone I know, starting with my son who is a senior in high school, and so wants to travel and do good in the world. I almost called the show to ask you what you would recommend to an 18 year old who, like kids all over Europe, wants to take some time off to help somewhere in the World before he goes to college, (in America everyone recommends waiting until after college, but I don't think he can).
Blessings and Peace to you on your journeys...

You go! I saw your mom when I was walking the kids and the new dog and she told me about your website. I think it's awesome that you are going so big in the realm of adventure and just living to the fullest. When you are old you will have no regrets about your life and a zillion stories to tell. Keep it up!!

Dear Chris,
Sarah here... Recovering Blender Mom.
I had a hard time letting my old landcruiser go.
It brought Anna home from the hospital 13 + years ago.
I love to read your writing,
Sarah

Birds are so cool, once watched a red tail soaring in a gully off the side of the road up to the airport at telluride, it maintained position over the ground by changing the angle of attack, incidence, area of wings, and size and shape of it's tail, all without moving it's head from what it was watching on the ground... might have something to do with being slightly hypoxic....
